MEET THE PLANNING GROUP
Who organises Perspectives?
Back in 2012 a group of local men from various churches wanted the opportunity to meet together with others from the Valley for friendship, fellowship, and to grow together in faith. We also wanted enjoyable events we could invited friends along to.
And so was born Perspectives!
The Planning Group meets as needed through the year to agree speakers to be invited, and to agree on essentials such as the venues for breakfasts and our occasional dinners.
Lord Curry chairs the planning group. He is a Crossbench Peer in the House of Lords and lives in Corbridge.
Jonathan lives near Hexham. He worships in Benwell, Newcastle upon Tyne and is in the business of pharmaceuticals.
John lives in Fourstones and is a member of his local Methodist chapel. He is active in supporting the Tynedale Methodist Circuit and relates well with ecumenical activities.
Max lives in Corbridge, and is actively in the Parish Church, where he is currently a member of the PCC and on the Messy Church and River service teams.
Duncan lives in Corbridge and takes his Baptist background to the Community Church, Hexham.
